Neil ConnorAcademy methodology
Football academy methodology and session-design support for clubs and programmes that want clearer alignment from strategy to the training pitch.
Who it is for
A methodology has little value if it exists only in a presentation. The work translates playing principles and development priorities into curriculum structure, session design, shared coaching language and practical review processes that coaches can use.
About Neil ConnorHow it works
Understand the existing football idea, people and constraints.
Identify what should remain consistent and where flexibility is needed.
Build practical curriculum, session and review components.
Support coaches to apply, test and improve the methodology.
Agreeing The Work
Agree the review question, material to be examined, output format and feedback arrangements. The proposal identifies what is included and the limits of the review.
Confirm the staff contact, available evidence and time required for review conversations. Where player information is involved, agree permissions, access and secure sharing before transfer.
Confirm the timetable, fee and review points before work begins. Assess the work against the agreed purpose and evidence, with any further support discussed separately.
Start with clarity
The initial conversation is free and is used to understand the people, current practice, evidence and constraints. Any proposed scope, deliverables, timetable and price are then confirmed clearly before work begins.
